Adding flashtape to the back of the cab above the engine. Flashtape sticks down and helps to deaden the noise of the engine as well as add a bit of extra insulation. Flashtape is heat sealed to the cab with a hairdryer.
Working in English winter means it gets dark annoyingly early, so we brought out a house lamp to finish off the job
De-burring the hinges of the rock and roller washed all the grease off and gave them a fresh coat of primer

Back to the rock and roll bed, rotten and rusty, ripped it apart and bought new wood, and sanded down the hinges
Took out front seats to see what was under, lots of gakky stuff!
We also found a space designed to keep the spare tyre! no more tyres rolling around the boot for us.
Mark removed the felt strips and gave it a deep clean for the spare tyre to go into it.
